Schools

Educational excellence in the Klein Independent School District – Educational excellence is provided to all students by the Klein I.S.D. through modified closed classes. Although all schools are located minutes away, students have the option of walking, biking, or busing to all campuses. The nationally recognized Klein I.S.D. is a major reason that thousands of families have moved to the Champions area. Klein I.S.D. is committed to providing a superior educational program, which incorporates a well-planned, balanced curriculum from kindergarten through the 12th grade.

Students living in The Falls at Champion Forest will benefit from the acknowledged superior schooling offered at Brill Elementary (grades K-5), Kleb Intermediate (grades 6-8) and Klein High School (grades 9-12). The ratio in the regular academic sections of grades K-12 ranges from 22 to 32 pupils per teacher. Some elective courses at the secondary level have fewer than 20 students per section. In the 1997-98 school year, the KISD had a total of 42 commended students, and nine semi finalists among the National Merit Scholars were from its Klein High School. The district’s dropout rate is less than one percent.

Adult Education

Klein I.S.D. residents have the opportunity to take credit or non-credit adult education classes at Klein Forest High School on Monday and Wednesday evenings. North Harris Montgomery Community College offers credit and non-credit classes and the University of St. Thomas offers credit classes.
